French Horn, Into the Woods
Jenifer Carstensen is thrilled to be one of the returning orchestral musicians from OSF’s 2014 Into the Woods production. Like the hundreds of students she has taught at Ashland Middle School since 2004, Jenifer began learning to play music in her school band program. Jenifer also plays horn with the Rogue Valley Symphony, Southern Oregon Repertory Singers, Rogue Valley Chorale and the Ashland City Band. When not playing music, Jenifer enjoys spending time at the coast and in the woods with her two kids and their two dogs. Education: BA in Music Therapy and BA in Music Education, Horn Performance Certificate, Shenandoah College and Conservatory (Virginia); teaching credential from Sonoma State University.
