Uma Paranjpe is an Indian-American actor, playwright, and teaching artist originally from the SF Bay Area. OSF: Much Ado About Nothing, Coriolanus. Broadway: Life of Pi (First US female Pi). Off-Broadway: Short Stack (Ma-Yi), tango of a crumbling wall (Teatro Latea). Regional: Life of Pi (American Repertory Theater), Queen (Theatreworks Silicon Valley), Nerve (TWSV), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Catskill Mountain Shakes), Twelfth Night (CMS). Film: Beast (Tribeca New Voices), King Lahiri (Amazon Prime). As a playwright, Uma’s work has been seen at Moxie Arts, New Perspectives Theater Company, and as part of The Tank’s 7x7 play festival.
