Narrator and Mysterious Man in Into the Woods

Tony’s performed 12 seasons with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, playing such roles as Shylock, Timon of Athens, Iago, and Shag in Equivocation. On Broadway: The Elephant Man with Bradley Cooper (also on London’s West End); Love! Valour! Compassion! and Anything Goes! (with Tony nominations for each), Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, The Wake of Jamey Foster, Inherit the Wind, and A Small Family Business. Off-Broadway: Lips Together, Teeth Apart and The Lisbon Traviata, as well as Obie Awards for The Foreigner, Henry V, and Quartermaine’s Terms; Theseus and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Misalliance, for which he was given a Theatre World Award. Regional theater: King Lear at the California Shakespeare Theatre and then at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Heisenberg at Pittsburgh Public Theater and then at the Rogue Theater Company, and seasons at Milwaukee Rep, Hartford Stage, and The Asolo Theater. Film: Dr. Chilton in The Silence of the Lambs, The Pelican Brief, X-Men III, Accepted, The Client, and Proof of Life, among others. TV: Vice Principal Scott Guber in Boston Public; Boston Legal, Cheers, Frasier, The X-Files, and others.
